Bing is second only to Google in popularity among search engines. It would seem that a search engine with so much user base and Microsoft backing would be able avoid viruses and clumsy bugs. But you’d be wrong.
Bing isn’t the problem, it’s just an excuse for hackers to infect the system. Many people don’t know why Google switches to Bing and if the Bing search engine virus exists. Bing is not the latest example of malware being used to disguise search engines; Yahoo and Google have also been victims.

What is the Bing redirect virus?
If Google search redirects you to Bing or if another search engine does the same, it is likely unwelcome. You may prefer another search engine if you don’t already use bing.
Hackers can use the Bing redirect virus to hijack your system, just like any other virus. Your system can be hijacked by hackers to make changes, install unwanted apps and services, or change your search and browser behavior.

Most malware is downloaded from the Internet.
No one intentionally downloads viruses or malware. They are hidden in other software. It is possible that you thought you were downloading a book or movie, but in fact, it was a program, and accidentally downloaded spyware.
This is Dangerous!
Malware isn’t always dangerous but it’s not always safe. Hackers won’t make malware to harm your system.
